Aryza Extends Partnership with Citizens Advice to Advance Digital Debt Advice Services

Aryza announces that Citizens Advice has agreed to extend its partnership to further deploy Aryza’s digital financial review solution across its debt advice services.

Living costs across the UK are increasing the demand for debt advice, and much of advisers’ time is currently spent collecting financial information from clients, which is often incomplete or inconsistent, limiting the number of clients they can assist and thereby delaying the support they need.

Aryza’s solution targets this issue by enabling clients to share financial information digitally and for advisers to securely collect and structure their financial data before debt advice sessions, using open banking and credit bureau data enrichment capabilities. It supports Citizens Advice’s goal of helping more people access timely, high-quality and accurate advice by improving efficiency and decreasing administrative burden.

Through the partnership, Aryza’s solution will improve the accuracy and completeness of client data, increase overall adviser capacity, enrich the client experience, and support the ongoing evolution of advice services.

Robert Doherty, Global Head of Collections & Recoveries at Aryza:

“Partnering with Citizens Advice gives us a valuable opportunity to support the delivery of critical debt advice services across the UK. This collaboration comes as household bills continue to rise faster than incomes and more people are seeking support with their finances

“By combining Citizens Advice’s expertise with Aryza’s technology, we’re exploring how digital tools can help advisers reach more people and deliver better outcomes for those who need support most.”

Claire Driffield, Head of Business Development at Citizens Advice:

“Getting the right debt advice at the right time has never been more important. The average debt among people we help has reached a record £9,500 – up 12% on last year – driving unprecedented demand for support.

“Our partnership with Aryza will help meet this need by creating a new digital front door, making it easier for people to share their financial information. By speeding up how we assess income and debts, we can reduce waiting times and help people find a way forward sooner.”
